Dr Sunil Dhiliwal, a Mumbai based physician, after attaining medical degrees, has done research in home based palliative care in advanced stage of cancer and has been awarded PhD for his work.

Dr Dhiliwal has worked in various hospitals in Mumbai, particularly in Tata Memorial Hospital in the Department of Palliative Medicine for six and a half years. He was the head of the two home based palliative care teams catering around 2000 patients annually. Currently, Dr Dhiliwal is a Pain & Palliative Medicine Consultant in Asian Cancer Institute, Sion, Kohinoor Hospital, Kurla, HCG Cancer Centre, Borivili and ACI – Cumballa Hill Hospital, Mumbai.

He also participates in several training programs and has several publications in Indexed Journals towards home-based palliative care to his credit. To provide home based palliative care services, Dr Dhiliwal has extended his reach to all parts of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and parts of Thane Districts.
