Dr Salil Patkar is a super-specialist in the field of oncology. He completed his DM in Oncology/Hematology from “Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute”, Ahmedabad. He is well renowned as an expert in diagnosing and management of cancer and an expert in chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, hormonal and immunology treatment. He is working as a consultant at Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He is vastly experienced in treating cancers like breast cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancers (oral cavity, cheek, tongue), GIT cancers (stomach, colon, appendix, liver) GUT cancers (bladder, kidney, cervix, uterus) as well as sarcomas and skin malignancies. He is exclusively trained for bone marrow transplant from GCRI, Ahmedabad. He has numerous national and international publications in various conferences to his name.
